Our Friendship
Our amazing friendship started in 2024. Our husbands both love Magic the Gathering and we love Magic and Lorcana. We all go to the same game store in the town we both live in and the town our husbands (and Gabriella) grew up in.
G: One day Jeremy and I walked into the game store and saw Lucas, Alex’s husband, there for the first time. Jeremy and Lucas grew up together and were best friends before life got in the way.
A: About a week later Lucas brought me with him to Commander night and thats where Gabriella and I met for the first time.
We became friends instantly. It was an immediate bond and it didn’t take long for us to become inseparable. We hang out multiple times a week and talk on the phone every single day. While our husbands are our romantic soulmates, we are definitely each other platonic ones!
Meet Gabby
Hi! My name is Gabriella, but you can call me Gabby. I have always loved crafts but have always struggled on keeping my interests in one thing. That all changed when Alex introduced me to cross stitching. For the first time I fell in love with a craft that I havent stopped. This led me to begin embroidery which I am working on perfecting!.
I am a licensed esthetician who absolutely loves skincare and bonding with my clientele. I am also a huge animal lover! I am a barrel racer with my horse Shakem and an ex eventer with my horse Jazzie. I have many dogs and cats and other animals like snakes, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, bearded dragons and a skink!
My dog Colton is a service dog and he introduced me to my husband Jeremy! Jeremy and I have not gotten legally married yet, but our wedding is June of 2025 and we are so excited! I appreciate my husband so much because he fully supports my love for crafts and has always been one of my biggest supporters in every part of my life.
Other than crafts I also love to read and write. I love smut and I love thrillers. The Housemaid series is an absolute favorite! I also love MTG, D&D and Lorcana. I’m a huge Disney and Dream Works fan and a daily repeat watcher of the Office. My other favorite shows are Schitts Creek, Friends, TLOU, Dance Academy, Heartstopper and Bones!
Meet Alex
Hi my name is Alexandra but I go by Alex. Art has been my passion my whole life. It started with friendship bracelets, coloring, pearler beads, and rainbow loom bracelets. I started cross stitching in 2020 along with diamond painting but cross stitching quickly became my favorite art pass time. For the last few years I have wanted nothing more than to own my own business where I could make my art and use my creativity.
When I met Gabby she quickly became my best friend and someone I could share a passion of cross stitch, friendship bracelets, making jewelry, and owning a business with. I'm so thankful our husband's introduced us.
My husband and I have been together for 10 years although we aren't officially married we think of each other as husband and wife and enjoy spending life together. He always encourages me to pursue my dreams and helps me to believe in myself. Together we have two sons who keep us busy.
Along with art I am an avid reader and always have a book with me My favorite genres are romance, fantasy and thriller mystery! I will always enjoy watching a Disney movie and my go to shows include Gilmore Girls, Bones, Schitts Creek, Pretty Little Liars and The Resident! My husband introduced me to trading card games with Lorcana which has become something I really enjoy. I love to play video games such as the sims 4, Disney dreamlight valley, pokemon unite, runescape, and Mario kart. Watching football is another favorite pass time of mine and you can usually find me cross stitching while watching football on Sundays.
